Details
Premix Plaster 921 is a polymer modified cement based thin render, specially designed to correct major surface alignment and imperfections, with a single application thickness of 4-10 mm. Can be troweled to sponge finish.
- To be used on concrete, cement rendered wall, hollow block, brick walls and aerated light weight block.
- Ceramic tiles and natural stones can be fixed on finished surface.
Application:
- Apply by using a spray plaster machine or directly with a steel trowel or spatula. Level out to a thickness of 5 - 10mm to obtain the correct level or alignment. When applying several layers, the base layer must be dry before spreading the subsequent layer. PYE PREMIX PLASTER 921 can be finished with a trowel or a sponge. For an extra smooth finished surface, apply one coat of PYE FIL WF 221 or PYE FIL GF 621 finish skim plaster to a thickness of 1 - 2mm.
- Ensure surfaces must be clean, free of dust, oil, paint, grease and all traces of mould. Prewetting is recommended for very dry surfaces, but over wetting resulting in accumulation of water on the surface should be avoided.
- Mixing: Add about 7 - 8 liters of water to a 40kg bag of PYE PREMIX PLASTER 921 and mix with a powered drill whisk or a suitable mechanical stirrer for 10 minutes to obtain a good trowel able consistency. Re-mix again for 1 minute if the material is left undisturbed for not more than 30 minutes.
- Cleaning of Equipment: Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
